Choose the Record Holder
Idaho arrests are handled by different agencies, and the right contact depends on where the arrest happened and what record you need. Start with the county directory for local booking routes. For an ISP report, use the Idaho State Police records portal; for a filed case, use the Idaho courts’ iCourt portal.
- County arrest or booking: select the county in the Idaho County Directory and follow its official roster, feed, or records-request instructions.
- Booking report or photo: the Idaho recent arrests guide explains which agency may hold each item and how to request it.
- Current jail custody or victim alerts: see the VINELink Custody Check; the county jail remains the source for confirmation and facility procedures.
- Post-sentence supervision: use the Idaho Department of Correction Offender Search. It covers the department’s population, not every recent county booking.
- Trooper or highway-patrol arrest: the Idaho State Police arrests guide links to selected news releases and the agency’s report-request portal. ISP arrestees may be booked into a county jail.
- Federal custody: check the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator or ICE detainee locator. The BOP locator does not publish booking photos.
